Scottish Rivers Fund Launch

We're proud to see our Scotland river basin map featured as a central visual on the website of the newly launched Scottish Rivers Fund. This isn't the first time our work has supported their mission, Fisheries Management Scotland have been using our Scotland river basin map in talks and printed materials for some time.

The Scottish Rivers Fund was created to connect the people and businesses who care about Scotland's rivers with the projects that need their support. Following a rigorous, science-based approach, contributions are distributed to projects across Scotland that deliver measurable environmental and social outcomes for river catchments. The Fund is hosted by NatureScot, the Scottish Government's nature agency.

Scotland's rivers supply cold, clean water that sustains communities and businesses, provide habitat for treasured wildlife, help manage flood risk, store carbon, and offer a source of enjoyment in everyday life. Yet pollution, habitat loss, and a changing climate are taking their toll. It's exactly the kind of work we want our maps to be part of.
